So here it is, the BEST BLOG EVER …about natural bodybuilding …and all other drug-free figure/fitness athletes …written by a guy …named Greg …who lives in Florida …that prefers winter over summer (I’m in FL remember? Winters aren’t bad here) …and has no pets.

I feel safe making the claim that this is the “best blog ever“ now that I’ve reduced its broad sweeping generalization to become so specific that no one else will likely dispute its truth.

How many blogs are there on the topic of natural bodybuilding? I don’t know, two? Seven? One hundred? 4, 352, 691? Heck if I know. I do know blogging has been around for a number of years now and I’m just now hoping on the bandwagon. If you’re a marketing major then I guess I’m what you would call a “late majority,” or at this point possibly a “laggard”! Nonetheless, I’m here and I will tell you why:

Because I have a lot of information swirling around in my skull about living a drug-free bodybuilding/fitness lifestyle that I think people would find beneficial.

Because not only do I live this lifestyle, but so does my wife, Penny, who is a competitive figure athlete. So that’s two skulls with two brains (I’m assuming I have one), which means that much more informaton you stand to gain!

Because I’ve been bodybuilding for <…uh…one plus 18 carry the two divide by 6…> 19 YEARS and earned my NGA Pro Card in March, 2002 so I have a bit of experience that may have value to someone.

Because I love to write and I need a creative outlet.

Because there needs to be more out there for us natural athletes to gather and share information.

Because cyber friends are the best way to socialize without actually having to leave the house.

Because maybe if I grow this blog large enough I can generate a few bucks a month from it that can help pay for my food and supplement bill each month!

Because I don’t want to be the only one left on planet Earth without a blog.

Perhaps naive to say at this point, but I have high hopes for The Natural Physique. I want this site to be a place that people of all ages, races, and body types come to learn and share ideas. Whether you are a male or female competive natural bodybuilder, non-competitive bodybuilder, a figure athlete, fitness athlete, or someone who is interested in becoming either of these, now or in the future, then I welcome you and thank you for stopping by!

Expect this site to evolve. While in its infancy it’ll likely be relegated to my own personal feelings, influences, opinions, motives, techniques, experiences, expectations, etc., but as it grows I hope to include information and experiences via guest posts and interviews from other knowledgable individuals in the industry who have experienced success.

This blog will cater more to the natural athlete, but hey, if you’re not one, then we won’t discriminate because I believe there is much value here for you as well. …who knows, maybe you’ll change your mind about using steriods.

I would love to hear from you. Please take a minute to leave a comment and say hello. I’m still familiarizing myself with the “blogosphere” and WordPress so bear with me as I tackle it head on. As time passes I’m certain you will see changes to the format of this site, added features, etc. But for now, we’re live and here for the long haul. Welcome!
